Where were you born?

I was born in the USA, in Massachusetts.

Which school or schools are you graduated from?

Longmeadow Highschool and Carnegie Mellon University.

Do you think art can be taught? If you were a teacher in an art academy, which 'golden rule' would you share with your students? (Can it be "simple is the best"? :)

I think technique can be taught. I think vision, creativity and style are inherent. I think if I were to teach, that would be the rule. That all the fundamentals and technicalities the students would learn would be their tools to realise whatever visions existed in their heads. My job as a teacher would be help them realise those visions.

We know that the name of your personal project "Seriph" is coming from "Seraph" and "Seraph" is the angel who is closest to God, according to medieval Christianity. If you were that close to God, what would be your one and only question for him?

Whats his/her/its favourite food.

Up to now, you have worked with lots of big companies including giants from movie industry, Lion's Gate, Universal and Sony Pictures. Are you interested in movies personally? Which movie has affected you most?

In your resume, you are talking about 'your piano' as one of the tools you are using. What kind of music and which composers are inspiring you most? Is the music you are listening affects your work directly?

I love all kinds of music, I play a range of things from easier Beethoven to Tom Waite and also occasionally write my own stuff. The most inspiring composers to me are Beethoven, Rachmaninov, Chopin, Thomas Newman & Danny Elfman.

Theme of our first issue is "Wrong" in Bak Magazine as you know. Can you tell us what is wrong in your life and in the world?

In my life, I can’t say there’s much wrong at all :) As for the world, there is plenty wrong out there: intolerance & bigotry, lack of responsibility, lack of balance between the individual and community as a whole- but that’s just for starters :)
