Istanbul

The city, in which you can see a man shot and lying on the floor bleeding, a woman who is watching the scene with a corn in her hand, a weird looking, almost nude schizophrenic talking to herself and a couple walking on the street without caring about the crowd at the same time. Grotesque, absurd, dadaist, surreal, depressed, paranoid and alone.

Happiness

Drama, struggling with the problems and losing concentration. It is the time when these don't happen, when there are no problems. It is the time to be far away from the "reality".

Minimalism

Striking simplicity.
However, in today's world of graphic arts, people are only interested in the "simplicity" part. They define it as "typography" when they write a text in Helvetica Bold to a 50x70cm paper and the final result as a "poster". Graphic design is transforming to a discipline where there is no form, no balance, no grid and no idea, just full of Josef Müller-Brockmann or Wim Crouwel.

David Carson says; "There is a very thin line between 'simple, pure and powerful' and 'simple, pure and boring'." and it's my favorite.

Sincere, harmonious.

I don't know much about the daily life but I'm almost sure that I would have an happier professional life there.
