- What kind of family life did you have in your childhood? Do your parents push you to get interested in photography field or did you just discover the talent in you?
I like images since I was very young.
I become from a family of layers.
I am a selfmade photographer.
- After working in commercial projects for a long time, artists begin to create their own art to keep getting excited while doing their jobs. You create very impressive personal work and those pieces must be giving a great taste to your professional life. Now close your eyes and imagine... If you had a limitless budget, what kind of personal project would you create?
At this time, after 25 years working in photography, I don't know... Maybe, I would love to travel all over the world making pictures of landscapes & cultures.
- As a fashion photographer, you are represented in Spain, Singapore, Mexico and Argentina and you often travel for your photo shoots. In terms of geographical and visual richness, which place do you think is the best among the ones you visited so far and which country would you like most to go someday?
I like all the places I have been. I would like to go to Japan, Escandinavia, Antartica and South Africa.
- Do you remember your first photograph published? If yes, what was that and what did you feel when you saw the publication (or billboard)?
Yes, a Levi's 501 Ad. I felt so proud.
- Your El Descueve / Patito Feo serie looks very attractive and mysterious. What was the main idea behind the compositions?
I shoot those performers as they really are. Patito Feo & Hermosura are the titles of their performances.
- In your compositions, you mostly use people and you worked with so many models up to now. If you had one chance to choose a world famous celebrity to work with, who would be the one?
David Bowie, Jonhy Deep, Cristopher Walken, Kate Blanchet, Keira Knightley & Julianne Moore.
- You are living in the homeland of Tango. Are you interested in music? Does it influence you while working?
I LOVE music, and I can't work without it.
- In our interview with the famous advertising and fashion photographer Jill Greenberg (Bak13), she told us that she was nervous about the future for her children, while Zimbabwean graphic designer Chaz Maviyane Davies (Bak04) were sounding like he was really hopeless for 2050. How do you evaluate the future of our blue planet and what comes to your mind when you imagine Argentina in 2050?
