1985

Yeh, the year when my life has started. I think I knew in early ages what occupation I will take in the future. I had a huge interest in drawing and graphic design even when I was a kid. I spent all of my time on drawing, while all of my mates were playing outside. Well, I think its wasn’t that bad that I didn’t communicate with people of my age in that time, I didn’t find it interesting enough… Don’t know really why, but I preferred to spend my time alone doing my own stuff. Since I was 15 I started to play with html and then decided to move on with web design. So it’s almost 8 years that I’m in. Quite good experience!

Riga

It’s quite beautiful and small city with one million of population located near Baltic sea. Well, lots of foreign people who visit Latvia says that its one of the best cities they have ever seen… But for me it’s quite boring, because I prefer big cities with lots of traffic, like New York, Moscow or London. For now I spent some time working in Moscow and my next city is New York, hopefully I will get this visa as soon as possible and will move there. Don’t think that I can improve myself in Riga anymore.

Love

What’s that? Is that when people get married? Honestly no idea about that at all, had some in school, but nothing really serious. I guess it’s just not the time yet. But ye, that thing is necessary to live well, And yes, to be honest I had some kind of bad luck in past on that, so I prefer not to speak much about that, sorry guys!

Blue

I’m not a really bit fan of the blue at all. I use it very rarely, and only if it’s a client rule. I’m trying not to use it in my personal works. And yeah, my favorites are black, white and red!

Photoshop

Totally the most popular software for designers. I’m also the one who use it all the time for all of the work I’m doing. Web, art, photo… Everything. I think I started to use it when it was 4 version, or… Don’t really remember. Still there are some things that I don’t like how Adobe made, but overall its super nice and very interactive application for everyone. Should I say anything else?

Digital Abstracts

Since I started to learn web design I was trying also to get any of my projects online and make something for my own, for fun. I had a few bad attempts before Digital Abstracts came in my mind and I and some of my friends just finally launched it in early 2000. For till now it has enough popularity to move on. We are currently working on the new version of that. It might be online in the middle of 2007. It’s gonna be something big and massive and very helpful for designers so stay tuned and be patient. Oh yes, we are always looking for talents to join our team.

MTV

I did a couple of projects for them, I can’t talk much about that, because it’s a little confidential. The projects were for a few well known design agencies in US and Europe.

Photography

Well, that’s my primary hobby… I started take photographs when I was very young and till now, that's the best thing I prefer to do in my spare time. Also, that's also a huge inspiration for my commercial the works. Too bad, I don't have enough time to travel more and do more sessions. I have some plans to make some commercial photography as well, but that’s just a goal for future.

Cinema

I forgot the last time when I visited cinema… Unfortunately not much time lately for rest. Anyway I’m trying to watch all the latest movies anyhow. Just getting them from the net. I think the last movie I saw – was “The Holiday” with hot Diaz in line J Nice, easy movie.

Fame

Oh yes, I’d love to have my own TV show about design and fashion.
